NACCED was created as
an affiliate of the National Association of Counties (NACO) in 1978 to assist in
developing the technical capacity of county agencies such as yours. Today we serve over
120 counties, most of which are CDBG entitlements. We also have
a large associate membership of consultants and technology firms. NACCED is a persistent
and persuasive voice in Washington on budgetary and regulatory issues pertaining to
community, economic and affordable housing development.
