Community Development, Early Childhood Development and the Federal Reserve

The Federal Reserve’s 12 district banks and the Fed’s Board of Governors combine research, outreach, and convening to highlight best practices and policies in community development. Over the past 15 years, the Minneapolis Fed has focused on early childhood development as a critical period for investment with implications for workforce development and community well-being. This session will provide an overview of the Fed’s involvement in community development and economic research that makes the case for investing in young children. This webinar is a re-presentation of the Closing General Session at this year's NACCED Annual Educational Conference and Training.

Presenter:
Rob Grunewald, Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis
