NACCED Seeks Session Proposals for 2017 Annual Conference

The NACCED Conference Planning Committee is in the process of planning the 2017 Annual Conference and Educational Training and we want to hear from you!

The committee is requesting proposals for sessions that would be held during the 2017 NACCED Annual Educational Conference and Training, hosted by Clackamas County, Clark County, Multnomah County and Washington County. The conference will be held September 10-13, 2017 in beautiful Portland, OR.

Submissions should be related to hot topics and trends in the affordable housing, community development and economic development industry, from a managerial, policy or technical perspective. 
You can submit your proposals on NACCED’s website by clicking here. Proposals are due Wednesday, April 12, 2017 and the final selection will be made by the planning committee.

The National Association for County Community and Economic Development (NACCED) was established as an affiliate of the National Association of Counties (NACo) in 1978 to develop the technical capacity of county government practitioners that administer federally-funded affordable housing, community development, and economic development programs benefiting low- and moderate-income households.
NACCED provides information, training and representation to counties receiving direct assistance from the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD’s) Community Planning and Development (CPD) programs, including the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs.
