Register Today for NACCED’s Fair Housing Month Webinar:
A Regional Analysis of Impediments Case Study
NACCED continues to celebrate Fair Housing Month with our April webinar: A Regional Analysis of Impediments Case Study. Ten municipalities, counties and housing authorities in Central Texas have launched a first-ever collaboration to complete a regional Analysis of Impediments (AI). This process will identify meaningful actions to overcome historic patterns of segregation, promote fair housing choice, and foster inclusive communities that are free from discrimination. This webinar will include a discussion about the reasons the partners created the collaboration, the January 2018 HUD suspension of the Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH) requirement and how the Collaboration adjusted to address the change from an AFH to an AI.

The 10 partners include: Travis and Williamson Counties, the Cities of Austin, Pflugerville and Round Rock and the Housing Authorities of Austin, Georgetown, Round Rock, Taylor, and Travis County.

Consultant: BBC Research & Consulting

The webinar will include representatives from the consulting firm and 4 of the 10 partners.

Date & Time: Wednesday, April 25, 2018 1:00 pm ET

Cost: FREE for members. $50 for nonmembers.

Registration is required prior to the webinar.
