NACCED’s focus on community and economic development and affordable housing allows for a robust membership with varying interests, needs and funding sources. Below is a description of the different types of membership opportunities available.
NACCED membership is open to all county agencies which administer community development, affordable housing, and economic development programs as well as HOME consortia. Regular members include county agencies serving the residents of urban, suburban and rural areas across the country. Membership categories are:
Entitlement counties in the Community Development Block Grant Program
Large non-entitlement counties with populations of 200,000 or more
Medium-sized counties with populations between 50,000 and 200,000
Small counties with populations of less than 50,000
An affiliate membership category is open to all nonprofit organizations, state associations of counties, and city government agencies in the affordable housing, community development, and economic development field.
